Volunteer instructor Tom Henry’s history classes and series “Travels With Tom,” are popular with participants at Upstate Oasis, in Syracuse, New York.

“One of the joys of giving is to be able to give back to an organization that I think is doing important work,” says Tom. “Oasis provides an avenue for older adults to keep learning in a friendly environment. It is an important part of who I am.”

With support from the CTA Foundation, we’ve been able to capture a 2-part class based on one of Tom’s trips to Italy and Malta.
